There is plenty to do and see in this wonderful and vibrant city in Colombia. The metropolitan area of Medellin is settled within the Aburrá Valley at an elevation of 1,538 meters and is split by the Medellin River which flows northward.
Because Medellin is located at 5,000 ft above sea level, its climate is not as hot as other cities located at the same latitude near the equator.
This tour will take you to Pueblito Paisa, the Parque de los Pies Descalzos (a park inspired in eastern philosophy with a small bamboo forest, a sandy area, water fountains and a relaxing plant path), the Parque de los Deseos and the Museo de Antioquia – Colombia’s second-oldest museum and one of its finest with pre-Colombian, colonial, Independence and modern art exhibits.
