Thanks again for the amazing good time in Colombia!

Some feedback on our tour,

- Overall wonderful week. Mantaraya was great to deal with from the first time I called, and all the way through our tour.
- You were extremely flexible from the beginning
- The initial price was so reasonable, I came back and asked for some additional days, which you filled in short-order. But I never felt like you were intentionally adding high-margin options to ‘pad’ your profit. That was great.

Once in Colombia:
- Everything was in order – our transports were all on-time and easy to locate.
- The arrival packet was at the first hotel desk as promised.
- Overall, the accommodations were terrific.
- The other hotels were all wonderful. I think our favorite was Bambusa in Armenia!

- I think the biggest surprise was how much we enjoyed the Armenia leg. The Coffee Plantation tour was amazing. They spent 4+ hours with just Chrissy and I made us feel like we were visiting from the UN or something. Had a ball.

Overall thoughts on Colombia as a US travel destination:
- Beautiful, breathtaking country with a big variety of terrains and climates.
- Great value COP vs $USD
- Limited tourism industry means hardly anyone speaks English – especially outside urban areas
- But that also means you’re NEVER fighting the usual throngs of other tourists. Even in some of the more exotic places Chrissy and I have been (i.e. Morocco), we’ve found ourselves running into busloads of tourists. Not having that made it worth muddling through our lousy (lazy;) Spanglish to be understood.
- Nearly everyone we encountered was extremely friendly and patient with us. We came away with a great impression of Colombia. Never felt threatened or unwelcome. We’re already recommending Colombia to our traveling friends!

Thanks again for everything!
