Heat up Caribbean style! in the romantic and historic UNESCO renowed city of Cartagena, take an unusual mud bath at Totumo Volcano and spend the night on an idyllic island in the Rosario Islands, known for incredible coral reefs and tropical sea life.

Morning – Transfer from the hotel to La Candelaria the historic part of Bogota to take a Bicycle tour through the rustic cobblestone streets of La Candelaria where you can contemplate its characteristic colonial architecture, cultural ambience and get to know the main attractions of the area. A guide will inform you about Colombia’s many different historical and social aspects, and answer any questions you may have. Transfer to the hotel.

Day trip to Tobia, the outdoor adventure town very close to Bogota, here you will embark on an ecological trek of the Berberia Creek. Afterwards you will go rafting with highly qualified guides down the Negro River in Class 3 rapids and past beautiful river-side vegetation. After a lunch by the river you will head back to Bogota.

Day trip to the beautiful lake ‘Laguna de Guatavita’ the cradle of the El Dorado legend and which was the ritual center of the Muisca Indians who would honor their gods by throwing gold and emeralds into the lake. The lake itself is a beautiful emerald green and boasts beautiful nature around its diameter and which is truly invigorating to walk through. Here you will have a guide tell you about this land and lakes extensive mystical history.After a walk around Guatavita, you will drive to Zipaquirá. The town is primarily known for its incredible Salt mine Cathedral, an underground church built inside a salt deposit in a tunnel made as result of the exploitation of the salt mines. Return to Bogota.

Arrival to the lush land of the coffee plantations, transfer to your accommodation, a beautiful ‘Hacienda’ traditional house typical of the region.

Enjoy a morning horse ride through beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon take a visit to the Botanical gardens and Butterfly sanctuary before returning to your Hacienda to rest.

Transfer to domestic airport to take flight to Cartagena, transfer from airport in Cartagena to hotel in the Gestmani area of Cartagena (a short walk from the old walled city). Free time.

Morning trip to Volcan Del Totumo, a volcano outside of Cartagena and which is renowned for its healing properties in its mud. Take a mud bath in the small volcano crater and benefit from its rich minerals.
