“I’ve been to Colombia three times with Mantaraya Travel and would definitely recommend them.
Each time I’ve visited different parts of this beautiful country, most recently the region of Santander. Santander (San Gil in particular) is known as the ‘extreme sports capital´ of Colombia, a title it richly deserves. The mountains, parks, waterfalls and streams are spectacularly lovely and I tried my hand at parasailing, caving, rappelling and whitewater rafting. My outdoor experience was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Colombia’s greatest natural asset, however, is the genuine warmth of the people. Colombians are some of the nicest, most helpful and caring people you’ll encounter anywhere. Colombia has come through difficult times and the people are both resilient and very grateful for the country’s greatly improved economic and security situation. I am as well – and plan to return often.”
